
The Beverly Arts Center (BAC) presented its 2007 Annual Awards Nov. 29. Through the awards, the BAC recognizes people who have made significant contributions to the Center and the arts in the South and Southwest sides as well as suburban communities.
State Sen. Emil Jones Jr. and State Rep. James Brosnahan). State senators Emil Jones Jr. and Maloney, as well as State representatives Brosnahan, Davis and Joyce received the BAC Partnership Award; Willie and Kerry Winters received the Richard I. Polanek Award; Olszsewki (Editor-in-Chief) and Thomas (Editor) of The Beverly Review newspaper received the Artistic Award; Pfaff received the Teaching Partnership Award; and Plax and Schwartzman received the Volunteer of the Year Award.
