There is a paper trail as

There is a paper trail as well that is printed immediately after you vote and you the voters see it as well. Is any computer truely safe, no. Hanging chads ring a bell? No system is perfect. I believe the paper trail on the computer system is more trustworthy than the hanging chads. So yes, I do feel they can be trusted.

When you're talking about

When you're talking about the new computer system, do you mean that you've switched to electronic voting machines? Like the ones from Diebold that can be so easily hacked? Do think that they're secure enough, and that they can be trusted?

As an election judge I know

As an election judge I know they try to have some experienced people mixed in with the younger judges. I love the new computer system. It is much easier but I have seen voter and judge resistance to new technology. It will just take time. The only problem I can see with the newer judges is they may not be familiar with the neighborhood. Voters can be a bit ruffled when you don't recognize them or ask for their I.D. I think it is nice to involve our youth and bring them closer to the whole process. It is a great way to connect the generations and let them(our youth) know that their voice via voting ( when 18) is important and matters.

I knew Pat when he was in

I knew Pat when he was in grade school at Morgan Park Academy. Never did I think he would reach this kind of prominance but yet I am not surprised. Anyone in the area should be proud of him because it is just a matter of time before he reaches No. 1. With the way he is eating, he will be there soon.

That chicken wing contest was not even close. Pat had the perfect technique and clearly out ate Chestnut. Pat is not only a great eater but a great strategizer as well. He makes Competitive Eating a sport.

I am disappointed with ABC 7 Chicago's coverage of the upcoming Krystal competition. They mentioned the competition but the only eaters they mentioned were Kobayashi and Chestnut. WHY NOT PAT? ABC 7 Chicago is a Chicago station and we have the No. 3 eater in the world and not a mention?

Cmon, Pat personafies Chicago. His mohawk hair, eccentricness, food expertise, and what about the headband? He is Chicago. Chicago is proud of Pat. Chestnut's time at No. 1 will be short lived because Bertoletti is on the rise.
