Join us for our annual candlelight bowl. It will be held at Burr Oak Bowl in Blue Island. The cost is $40.00/couple for advance tickets and $50.00/couple at the door. Check in time is 8:30pm, pizza at 9:00, bowling at 10:00. Please contact Karie with any questions @ 773-679-9466.

The Beverly Area Planning Association's 31st Annual Ridge Run kicks off on Memorial Day, Mon., May 26, with its new 10K course introduced last year and certified by USA Track and Field.

Runners have until Sun., May 25 to register for $30 for the 10K or 5K, and $15 for the Youth Mile. On race day, the fees go up by $5. Register online at www.bapa.org or at Ridge Park, 9625 S. Longwood Dr.

May 21-23, noon to 7 p.m.; May 24, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; or May 25, 2 to 5 p.m. Race day registration opens at 6:30 a.m. and will be held until a half hour prior to each race.

"Hizzoner" returns

After selling out all 12 fall and winter performances Neil Giuntoli's "Hizzoner" is coming back to the Beverly Arts Center for three weekends in June.

The critically acclaimed biography/drama of legendary Chicago Mayor Richard J. Daley, "Hizzoner" is a gripping play that takes a personal look at Daley and his 21 years as Mayor.

"Hizzoner" will be staged at the BAC Sat., June 14 at 8 p.m.; Father's Day, Sun., Jan. 15 at 2 p.m.; Sun., June 22 at 2 p.m.; Sat., June 28 at 8 p.m.; and Sun., June 29 at 2 p.m.
