Two women had their purses snatched from them at about 8:40 p.m. Oct. 17 by a pair of robbers in front of St. Christina church.

...yes, that's sarcasm. And it's got nothing to do with the Chicago Police Department.

There has been a population explosion in Mt Greenwood. With the economy spiraling down, our public schools are packed. We need a building for Pre-K and K to bring down classroom size.

Does anyone know when the new BOZ'S will be opening?

I knew I wasn't dreaming when my house began to shake around 4:45 this morning, but my wife insisted that she felt nothing.

I checked the house, looked out the windows and found everything as normal as always. It wasn't until later when I realized that a 5.2 magnitude earthquake occurred just after 4:30 ... 265 miles south in West Salem, Ill.

Did anyone else notice the quake this morning?

Is anyone else completely disgusted with the overll condition of Mt Greenwood. 111th street looks like the ghetto. When is the Walgreens property going to be started. Ginger better het her you know what in gear. She does absolutely nothing for us. I work all over the city and our parks are a joke. Please give me your thoughts. And whats going on with the Brew Pub on Western? Come on people. Lets get these politicians to finally do something.
