New Beverly library necessary?

Construction is expected to begin on a new Beverly Branch of the Chicago Public Library some time this year.

Property has been purchased at 1962 West 95th St., just east of its current site, where it has been located since 1981.

Some people say the current location is just fine and there's no need to build on another site.
