Former Morgan Park star Demetrius Jones, who started at quarterback in the Notre Dame season-opener but subsequently lost the job to Jimmy Clausen, was granted his release Sept. 21 to play for any team that will not be an opponent of Notre Dame during the course of his eligibility, which runs through 2010.

He's expected to enroll at Northern Illinois University, where he allegedly has attended class (the NCAA requires that transfer students attend school by the 12th day of classes in order to be eligible to play the following season).

But technically he still could be admitted to a school that is on a quarter system and hasn't been in session for 12 days yet (such as Northwestern or Ohio State).

Where do you think Jones will end up playing?
