Mount Greenwood residents are invited to learn about a tax-free way to save for college using the Bright Start College Savings Program, the state's 529 savings plan for college.

The money invested is deductible from state taxes. Additionally, qualified withdrawals for college expenses are federal and state tax free.

Accounts can be opened with as little as $25.

The money deposited into a Bright Start account can be used by any student at any school in any state for tuition, fees, books, room and board.
