The developer of the northwest corner of 111th Street and Kedzie Avenue has made it public that, within the year, construction should begin on a retail center anchored by Walgreens and supplemented by a drive-through Starbucks. The Seattle-based coffee chain has been compared to everything from a capitalistic Goliath to an accessible purveyor of quality coffees. Considering the availability of other local cafes in the area (from Beverly Bean to Cafe Luna) as well as another Starbucks on 103rd Street in Beverly, will you visit the Mount Greenwood Starbucks?
